New Programme Manager joins the Cancer Prevention & Early Diagnosis Function, HSE National Cancer Control Programme

My name is Grace O’Sullivan. I have been appointed as a Programme Manager in the National Cancer Control Programme. I will be working across the areas of cancer prevention, early detection and hereditary cancer. I have joined the NCCP from HSE Clinical Programmes where, since 2016, I managed the HSE Endoscopy Programme, the National Clinical Programme for Rare Diseases, and the National Rare Diseases Office.

Prior to this, I was the National Coordinator of the Hospice Friendly Hospitals Programme, an initiative of the Irish Hospice Foundation. Following completion of a master’s degree in Irish studies at Queen’s University, Belfast my early career experience was in the Community Relations Council as well as the Northern Ireland Human Rights Commission. I am delighted to join the National Cancer Control Programme.
