
The NCCP ‘Reducing Cancer Risk’ e-learning programme for health and social care professionals is available on www.hseland.ie. The programme aims to develop knowledge and understanding of modifiable risks for cancer. The 11 modules available on HSeLanD cover the following topics – smoking, tobacco, body weight, vaccinations, alcohol, skin protection, radon, cancer screening, eating for health, breastfeeding, oral contraceptive pill & HRT, physical activity and workplace carcinogens.
Modules take between 10 – 15 minutes to complete. Learners can dip in and out of the programme at any time and pick which modules they want to complete.
